Forex Turbo Drive (released Mid 2010) is from the same outfit as its brother Forex Over Drive (who, I might add, is doing a fantastic job in the markets at the moment – 323% return in 99 days).
I managed to get a trial copy of the Turbo Drive EA which I started trading on a Demo account about a week ago. Unfortunately, it placed a lot of losing trades and was eating away my demo account at a moderate pace. Just when I was losing hope the developers sent an updated version of Turbo Drive saying “This version is MUCH improved since the last copy we developed.” so I reset my demo account and have put it in the Forex Lab for testing.
Turbo Drive Details (so far)
- Trades EURUSD M5 Chart
- Very Low Drawdowns (TBC)
- Performed well in Euro Crisis (Jan-June 2010) (TBC)
- Up to 600 Trades Per Month
- Explosive but careful

Test 1: Independent Strategy Testing
Very slow strategy tester results, could take a while to finish the test and get them on the site.

- Updated the software on recommendation of the vendor. New MM settings and easier to back test. Will get the back test results up soon.
22nd October 2010:
- The downward spiral is not showing a lot of promise. I will not continue with Turbo Drive testing.

Would you mind putting SL and TP on the live tests as well, it doesn’t seem to be a secret because you already mentioned it on the details above? or DOES it actually COME out with standard SL/TP??

How often does your MT4 tests get updated, every 15min, 1/2 hr or what?

I think the SL and TP are not showing in the statement because it’s doing them internally in the algorithm. In the settings the SL default is 100 and there is no option for TP. I’ve added all the setting in the post above so you can see them all.
The MT4 testing accounts get updated on the site every hour, however, I’m just about to release a more detailed comparison page and change the updates to every 5 mins.
Your trades are totally different from mine Cam. I got excellent trades today that made over 100 pips for me.
Weird?? They have just send me an updated version which I loaded 2 mins ago and I’ve asked them why we should experience such different results. I’ll let you know what they come back with.
Just out of interest, are you running the Power version or the normal one?
