27th August 2010:
- Restarted testing, in fairness to this EA, due to inputting incorrect risk settings. Note, the first trade it placed was a 60 pip loss using 2 Lots, which is too high risk for this account size. I have adjusted the settings to be more conservative and inserted them correctly this time.
12th September 2010:
- Noticed strange Auto GMT settings. Updated EA to Manual GMT settings. 4 winners in 3 days since this adjustment was made. Trading times now look more like what it said on the box.
14th October 2010:
- The change in GMT settings one month ago seems to have fixed the performance issues. I have updated the chart to start from the 12th September 2010 to reflect a more accurate picture.
6th November 2010:
- After the demo account update Nonamebot doesn’t seem to be working any more. I’m not too sure if this is a security setting of if it’s a technical fault. I’m liaising with the creators to see if I can get a working copy again.
25th November 2010:
- It looks like I have overwritten the MT4i.com publication of the initial demo account (hence why the top chart is blank). I have not restarted the demo test on my own PC (not VPS) and will see if it starts trading again on the new demo account (bottom chart). The current 12% gain will remain in the lab tests and the new demo account will add to it.
Why do you believe it has a serious chance of winning, while it has just been launched?
Hi Al,
It gives 10 year positive back tests at almost 100% accuracy. I have a review copy and will confirm these on the site soon.
There is one condition though, you need a broker that has 3-4 pips spreads max during the Asian session (Alpari UK does this no worries).

what time IS asian session? (GMT)
Versus GMT, it starts at Midnight and ends 9:00am

Well, 3-4 pips max… so it’s safer to go lower than that I would feel. It seems to be quite an important factor with this EA, so it may pay to move brokers.
They are quite restrictive with their security, so you can only run it on one computer… Unfortunately, I realized this after I ran a backtest on my own computer and then couldn’t load it to the VPS where I host all the testing EAs on the site. I’m just working through this now and will have it up ASAP.
I’m also eager to see how it performs!!

Are you then saying i cannot USE a 4 pip broker? Yes it’s better if lower but 4 pips MAX???? meaning one can still USE 4 pip not so? if i get it I could try on my broker FIRST and see how she runs but lets see

Those were the recommended settings.
Actually, I’ve just realized that I set the account at $10,000 incorrectly. I have reduced the risk now, so it’s quite conservative.
Also, note the demo account above missed yesterday’s trade, which my live account took… it was a winner for 7 pips.
You already put it in your Live Account? Now, that’some confidence.

No idea really. The creator, Juliya, seems quite genuine and her copy on the site reads the same as the emails I’ve had from her.
Also,do you recommend trading this on live?
Not at this early stage. However, at a low risk I feel quite happy to run it myself.
Well, Vladimir Ribakov is behind it. There really is no Julya. A guy in the EA business, who is close to him told me. And according to him, there really is no Julya, she is just a marketing figure.
Co-incide that with another friend who is a member of Vladimir’s Forex Signal service, who told me that Vladimar keeps recommending No name bot in their trading room, and couple others in the room saying “we have not had a losing trade so far” blah blah.
Funny, I spoke to both these guys on the same day, wiithout once mentioning Vladimar’s name to either of them.

Maybe there’s some statistical evidence that he can sell more EA’s using a women front man?? Who knows.
Will be interesting to see how it goes, I guess the results will speak for themselves and more street cred. will be given to him if it’s a keeper.
I can tell you he is good. I bought his pips carrier, and after studying the system, I can tell you it is solid stuff. Plus, I know a guy who consistently makes 2000-4000 pips per month using the system.
Of course, time will tell for this bot, but I am slowly starting to move towards manual/semi-automated systems.
I’ve seen his Pips Carrier a few times before but never really looked into it in detail.

I mean this nn recons it can be used on ANY broker so ECN or not it’ll work (I’m thinking now of megadroid with my broker-lite, THIS combo seems to work, i watch it DAILY I can SEE it working) so I’m thinking that megadroid and nn are about the same
This on i’m thinking will run well on FXCBS because fapturbo recommends them (to me it seems like certain robots work with certain brokers). I mean FX… has GREAT spreads, look, apart from that what i’m trying to say is (I might be wrong here hey!) if you don’t have Alpari as your feed then this site is actually a waste of time?? because as i said some robots work with some brokers (if they ECN then i suppose you can put ANY robot on their feed and it’ll work…correct??) I need advice here is what I’m saying, help

Hi Craig, I’m not sure what the question is… I agree that MD and NoName look the same in nature so it might be worth testing NoName, on Lite, at lowest risk setting to see how it matches the results on this site before committing to anything bigger/long term.

i stopped trading the EA. it seems to be everytime the live trading shows up the opposit of the Backtests ;(
i got several 1% wins, but the Loosage are every time higher then the wins. so on my side ;(
i will change to Semi/auto trading. and using signal services.

I don’t really want to put too many EA’s on FX because of the big lot size, but I’ll demo as i go along. No, MY question WAS concerning Alpari, what I’m saying is that the EA’s MIGHT work on Alpari feeds and no OTHER feeds, therefore if you using another broker your tests are useless (TO THAT person) hope this clears the air??? I THINK (and logically speaking) FXCBS and Alpari are similar because BOTH companies have very good spreads?
I’m thinking since MD and NN are similar I put fapturbo onto FXCBS (since they DO recommend them) and these other two on lite (I HEAR lite manipulates feeds and hunts stops) but if they can’t SEE the trades there’s nothing they CAN do isn’t it
All in all so far I HAVE gained from lite on fap (oh, expect for my mishapp with someone installing prime95 on my VPS)! so i guess from today I’m starting my live tests with fap and MD on lite (mind you i must say, MD has been VERY good so far, with aggressive->true)

As i could see, theire of course several difference between FXCBS and Alpari.
The Alpari Demo Accounts are working same like the “Metatrader 4 PRO” >0 Spread. the Mikro and Classic are >1.6. so in this Case Alpari Demo Tests May not really significant because of the Product-Offer Differences of Alpari. Only if you use Pro. But needs a very high minimum Deposit. 20K
FXCBS are only 3k. And the Spreads are better then Alpari. so from the mt4spreads.com site.
The FXCBS Demo Accounts are working same like the Commission based ones.
Also if i saw the Currency charts correctly. the Data feed from FXCBS are faster then the data from Alpari

So what happened to TP on this one cams?
Ahem… Well it’s had two losses and a win on my own live account to date. Losing faith in this one… It needs quite a winning steak now to hit its 97% accuracy.
The demo above is a weird one two… The trade triggered out of the asian session 12 hours before my live account triggered.
This one needs more time in the lab me thinks.

hows live going cams?
I’ve taken it off live for now as it had 2 losses out of 3 trades, which is a highly unlikely occurrence given the back tests… so need to see how it performs above before making another attempt on live.
Also, above is acting a little strange also, it seems to be missing the trading slot and trading at the wrong time of the day… I’ll monitor it this week and if it still behaves like this I’ll see if I can fix it.
Cams, I don’t know WHAT’S going on with this one, why don’t you get onto support and find out?? So far this one is just bad news
(( But, why don’t you try forward test on various times slots to trade and see if THAT won’t help? But hey, green bot is looking good and so is fish, I might consider taking one of these 
I agree, it hasn’t been performing anything like the backtests and I noticed that the auto GMT setting was doing all sorts of weird things last week, e.g. changing from 36 to 47 hours offset when the offset should be 1 or 2 summer time dependent.
I have since changed to manual GMT settings in the weekend and it has traded at the correct time and placed 2 profitable trades. I’ll see how it goes this week and may restart the test with manual GMT set as opposed to auto GMT.

Yeah, it’s either their settings or something on my PC that is interfering with the EA (so it could be on my end).

Yeah, I think I may have found a work around for their coding issue (or my PC issue). Trades are now happening at correct times.
Good to hear ZuluTrade is expanding it’s list of brokers. You should look at their AAAFx broker… really integrates well with Zulutrade.

Nah, nothing technical. AAAFx is like a super partner to Zulutrade and offers zero pip spreads etc…

Re Shocker: I had a copy of Shocker running but couldn’t get any trades out of it so let it slide. Will have to have another look into it.

In all your years of robot testing and forex if a robot shows consistency, is it ALWAYS as consistent?
Shocker: I’ve read it wasn’t doing good at one stage but v2.0 is doing fine now (esp EUR/USD pair)
After my recent Overdrive experience I’ll need to weigh this one up carefully before going live. As it only takes a few pips profit, the spread on the live may not work so well. Might go live on Gomarkets this time as I can run micro lots and the spread is usually quite good.

it look like no name is performing now quite well… what GMT changes u did in this bot?
I just set it to Manual GMT offset. When set to Auto, initially, it was showing a variable offset… sometimes 37 hours offset which I knew was just wrong. My GMT offset is now set to 2.
cams, how long before you go live with NN?
Still undecided on Nonamebot. There are some technical issues around the software itself ,eg it hasn’t traded since I updated the demo account and th auto gmt setting doesn’t appear to work. Also the brokers spread could play a big part in it’s success because the profit targets are really low. Let’s see if I can get it working again first
