thats it then,we’ve cracked it!just buy this and get 9000% a year, job done.ye hah.why go to work? why bother to day trade?sorted. if this thing makes 900% a year i’ll eat my shorts!!
Yeah, that’s what it says on the tin… seems quite far fetched!
these guys have taken the marketing con to all new levels now!if you google search the name forex striker you will get only websites that contain the name striker,ie,they own them all! were talking striker.com,striker.org,strikerreviews.org etc,,so none of the first 20 sites on google are independent,ie from a site like this one.to someone not in the know this so called independent info looks great as all of the new ‘owners’ are doing so well!this is what i would call a super con!!i mean really, did anyone think you could make 9000% interest!! a patent on the software, what bollocks!a price of just 1000$ for something that would make you 8 million in 2 years from just 1000$!!!steer clear! very clever marketing though but then so was pipjet and look at that!
I just checked the website and it almost had me buying a copy. Great marketing pitch. If Striker is so great, then I guess I am missing out. I will keep away until I hear positive reviews. In the meantime, I will continue plugging away with my manual trades, Fap Turbo, and my own tweeked settings for Million Dollar Pips. Cheers everyone
AlexG
hello ou alexg,am very interested in mdp still but have not used it for a long time.do you enjoy success with this ea,the only one i have ever beleived in!if so i may restart it ,cheers, marka
Now they’re going to play word games!
THEY HAVE A COPYRIGHT, NOT A PATENT!!!!
BIG, BIG, DIFFERENCE.
Thanks to the website that brought it to my attention.
Jerry
why is it that pips striker is showing such good results on forex peacearmy real live account but crap on our ffr demo account?their results are still a million miles from 9000% a year but anyone who believes figures like that should not trade forex!forget the patent rubbish, who cares if it is patented or not,it will not improve or impair performance.biggest suprise, this is recomended by cristina curiea! something very odd here. i would never put my name to something like this if there was any risk of it being a con,why would she? will wait and see with this one.eas can work, fact, but will this be one or just another pipjet?
I purchased it 3 days before and till today 1 trade closed +60$ in fxchoice demo. I will keep the results posted so if its not working you will not waste money & time.
Ok, ok… so I caved in and got a copy of Forex Striker(see my earlier comment above). I will try it out for the 60 day term and see if it will live up to the hype. So far, no trades and I turned the EA on two days ago. No trades better than bad trades. I will keep you all posted. Until then… happy trading
hello alexg, are yoou trying it on a live account to achieve real results?i always think that it is a waste of time to test eas on demo accounts because you use up your 2 months risk free period completely then put it on a real account and achieve totally different results but by then it is too late for a refund. usind as little as 20p lots gives true results for a small risk. 10p lots should be avoided as most stp brokers treat these small trades as market making orders and will work against you thus still acheiving false results.
hello again alexg, would you consider giving me yoour settings for mdp if i assurede you that i am using a different broker to you.
Test day 4. On 1st Nov. 4 trades all positive added 199.84 USD. EURUSD & GBPUSD. vrsi44@gmail.com
Hi marka, yes I am going on a limb and using Forex Striker on one of my Forex accounts. You are right, demo accounts do not really paint the whole picture and a true, live account is the way to go in testing a bot. As the Striker website states, you ca return it within 60 days, GIVEN THE FACT THE YOU FWD THEM A COPY OF YOUR TRADING ACCOUNY HISTORY. So I can see where they are going with this; they will determine at their leisure whether to give you the refund or not, given how much you lose.
Oops sorry marka… and now MDP settings: I’ve spent many hours tweeking my settings with MDP and found the best settings, in my opinion. The thing w/ MDP is that it is extremely sensitive in regards to your Broker spreads and even to how far your computer or VSN is to your server. If you and I use the same Broker, for example, we will get different results based on where you are located, opposed to where I am located. At any rate… let’s start with NUM ORDER LEVEL: I would leave it at 0 or at 1. I found that if you increase it to 2-4, your winning trades diminish because MDP will tend to open into a spike or dip too early or too late in the wrong direction. I recommend leaving it at 0 or 1. ADDITIONAL CHANNELS: What this does is increase the timeline MDP searches for possible trading ranges, for example, 1 day out, 1 week out, 2 weeks out. MDP has a built-in parameter that searches for possible entry points based on a history timeline. Increasing this number to 8 will not neccessarily improve on performance. I find that leaving this number at 3 or below works well for me. SLIPPAGE: I set it at 1.5, any lower may hinder your performance in MDP. MAX SIMO ORDERS: This is the most significant number that WILL affect your performance in MDP. I leave this number at 3 max. Reason is, it makes no sense at all to go crazy will max simo orders if the first 2 or 3 trades are positive, while the remaining 4 or 5 are all negative (which tends to happen in my earlier trials of MDP). Therefore, I would not have any MAX SIMO ORDERS over 3. I place mine at 3 and I’ve seen that it works quite well. FIFO: obviously if you are in USA, I would keep FIFO at true due to the recent rip-off FOREX guidelines. GROUP ORDERS: I would set to true. I found that setting GROUP ORDERS to true, you improve on profits (this also reduces your Broker’s lag time). This makes sense too, why have MDP place multiple trades within several seconds and have your Broker possibly bollocks it up when you can place your 3 simo trades in 1 group order at the right time?! Get in, get out… get profit. I found this works well. That’s about it. No big secret and no website I will ask you to go to, in order to attempt to sell you “my settings” it is simply what I found to work best. Good luck and remember, MDP only works on spikes and dips which usually happen in a 20-30 pip swing. This doesn’t happen very often as of late so don’t think that MDP will start working everyday for you. Try it out and see what you think. Remember, keep your risk level small to try these settings out. I am only offering you what works for me, I am not guaranteeing results. With that said… Good Luck and happy trading
cheers alexg,i will try these settings,i must admit i did use mdp for a long time with various diff settings but nothing like these so maybe it will work. am using a day trading method at the moment which is proving to be very good,if it continues like this i will let you know about it,cheers, marka
Absolutely, marka. Let me know what strategies work for you. Ultimately, I find that we are all in this Forex trading thing together and should help each other out whenever possible. Good luck to you with your trading. In the meantime…… I have yet to strike a trade with Forex Striker. Not sure of its trading consistency but keeping it live so far. Let’s see what this week will bring. I will post an update by the end of this week. Until then, good luck and happy trading.
Hello everyone… just wanted to chime in with a trading update. So my Forex Striker finally took some trades…. and did they. Today I finished up with 11 total trades w/ 9 winners. The two losses were minimal. It is still a bit too early for me to judge the trading strategy of Forex Striker so far but I saw that it had a EUR/USD downtrend in mind and opened orders at small peeks right before it headed south. So far I am slightly impressed. I took a closer look at the technicals and Striker opened trades right before a move so I am assuming (you know what happens when you assume… you make an…) that it is working pretty well so far. Also, I did notice that after 1 Sell order trade, it opened another one shortly after, only to close both orders in profit 24 minutes later. Striker does not use Martingale in the true sense, but does open multiple trades if the swing goes slightly against the order. I don’t find this to be a problem as this is a technique used by actual profession traders (I know a few). Anyway, so far so good. I will keep you posted later on this week if any other updates happen. In the meantime, good luck and happy trading.
hello alexg, can you update us on the performance of striker for the week?
my system has produced over 200 pips this week but madly i have not capitolised on them. have closed winning trades early and kept the losers! i cannot believe my bad decisions! ,thought i was a proper emotionless trader! will double my efforts not to think too much.come on striker i say!
Ok, so this week has ended and want to give my Striker update. I had a feeling that I should turn off all my EA’s on Election Day, but ignored my internal instinct. I should have listened. Striker did open two trades early that morning that were winners. So, for the week I tacked on more profit. The problem was that Striker also opened two more later in the day right before Election Day results. As you know the EUR/USD during that time period shot up. Well, Striker opened two Sell trades shortly before. Both were losers but really wasn’t that bad. I like the fact that Striker’s stop loss is not as long as Fap Turbo’s and I also like the fact that it does not partake in Martingale-like trading. All in all, I do see some potential with Striker. After Election Day, no more trades. This is a bit of a short week, given today is recognized Vet’s Day so I will post another update probably this Friday. Thank-you to all that served or serves in the Military and wish you all a good week. Happy trading
alexg,i dont suppose you could post the actual trades that striker took could you so that i can check them against my own indicators.this would tell me what it is looking for, cheers, marka
alexg, not heard from you for a while.normally that means that things are not going well,i hope i am wrong!my own system produced 99 pips for the week but i am very disappointed with that as i was in trades worth double that! my system allows me to ‘read’ what the market is doing all the time and not just in snapshots but bear in mind it is a dytrading system and not an ea.but,on 4 hr charts i only need to look at the charts for maybe 5mins every few hours and i do work a full time job as well.this is the culmination of 2years work and i truley beleive it will replace my day job by the end of nexy year hopefully.i am simply too committed to projects next year to give up work .anyone interested in this needs to have a good understanding of elliot waves, macd and the importance of different time scales.will keep this site updated and am looking forward to Cams new site early next year where we can all move forward, cheers, marka.
Hi cam and everyone else,
I had purchased Striker and put it Avagard and Xe Mkts platforms. While it has made no trades on either of the platforms, this is shown to be due to excessive spreads on Avagard, while I get 2 error messages in Journal of Xe Makts that”History Base: Not enough memory for “GbpUsd/EurUsd1 in Add Tic()” and “Memory Handler cannot allocate 200823128 bytes of memory”.
I would appreciate if anyone czn advise and help. Thanks.

striker should have made about 100% interest by now according to their marketing speil.i wonder how many refunds they will be faced with?he spider looks a lot better but only time will tell.
Was on vacation, hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving and just checking in. For the week, it was slow in regards to EA trading. I closed out on all of my manual trades prior to my leave as well so not much to tell. In regards to Forex Striker, it took only 1 trade on a Tuesday and it was a winner. I emailed the folks over at Forex Striker and they stated that I/we should all be patient as it is a system that will work over a long period of time. The email mentioned briefly a comparison to Megadroid and that threw me off. Reason being, all the Forex Striker pitches and “verified” account history screens show multiple trades per day vs what the contradicting email stated, as well as Megadroid activity. Basically, they are now stating that Forex Striker should trade like Megadroid, which if any of you have not been living in a cave for the last few years know how Megadroid trades. The email was trying to assure me of sticking with Striker and I don’t really have any reason why I shouldn’t. It does appear to open trades right before a move and appears to do so with consistency. It is still too early to tell how well the system truly performs so I can’t give a full review. At any rate, I will do a Striker update by the end of this week. In the meantime, happy trading
Thanks Alex. Great insight!
Are your trades matching those in the chart above?
Same communication from EA support recd. on clarification of low trades. Almost a month now and only four days traded by EA 5,6,22 & 26th Nov with total 26 trades 22 profit 4 loss and 20% returns. Not bad I think.
My trades are not matching with this chart and not even EA live mybook account. For this query I got clarification from support. “There will always be differences in results between MetaTrader platforms provided by different brokers. For such robots as scalpers it could be caused by many different things: Spreads and commissions, account types, broker types (Dealing Desk / No Dealing Desk), broker’s server delays and even your Internet connection speed.”
Thanks for the clarification Vinay!
I agree with Vinay, I think we will always have different trading experience due to different Broker, connection speed, etc. My trades are also different than the ones reflected above. Quick Striker update: 11/26 received 10 trades, all Buys, 2 very small losses with 8 winners. I have just noticed a pattern that Striker does open trades shortly before a move in the direction it opens in. For the time being, Striker’s internal codes appear to be working. Please note as well; I am currently using the most recent Striker version 1.10. If anyone is using Striker I suggest updating to the 1.10 version from the Striker Member’s website. I will give an update later in the week, in the meantime, happy trading and good luck to all.
Got refund. No need to waste time with this EA. I designed my own EA getting unexpected results in back-testing. Email me on vrsi44@gmail.com to see the results.
So I’ve been away for a while but also turned off my EA’s over the holidays, including Striker. Today it appears to have opened trades for the first time in 2013. 4 total trades today, 3 winners 1 very small loss. I am still running Striker and believe that it still has potential in the current Forex environment. I will make another update next week. Happy Trading everyone
that is excellent news alexg.i really hope this turns out to be profitable.i gave up with mdp as it did not trade at all for 2 weeks and that is not like the mdp i remember.i only use my own system now which is a modifiction of a system i was given by a ‘forex surefire challenge ‘winner. i achieved about 150 pips last week and the same the week before.i will engage 1 single beta tester today as it happens to see if someone with no knowledge of day trading can learn the system properly although it will be a simplified version using just 1 time frame and reduced indicators.my own system is amazing ,!long may it continue!happy trading everyone!
It is always good news when a system you use actually works. Congrads, Marka. Wish the success continues throughout 2013. Yes, MDP does not seem to perform the way it use to. It would be great if the maker of it updates the system from time to time like Fap Turbo or Striker. Unfortunately, he doesn’t. It appears that he just introduces new systems. Oh well. The concept behind it is great. I actually manually trade in similar ways. I see a breakout and go with the flow, so to speak. Anyway, good luck and happy trading to all.
… I would like to add one more thing. I see Forex Striker working very much like Megadroid, despite the initial hype. It appears to be an EA that does take some patience. It is not an EA that you should heavily rely on. I keep it opened just to mark its progress but I don’t expect to pull daily consistent gains. The trades do appear to be consistent, in the fact that the EA opens trades at the right moments in the trading day. At any rate, I will keep it on and simply comment on the progress. Like I said, it is not an EA to rely on by itself, but an EA to include within an arsenal of your overall strategies or EA collection. It is important to have a collection of manual strategies along with some EA’s that do the work for you when you are not glued to the computer monitor. Happy trading everyone
