- Take Profit 4 pips
- Stop Loss 35 pips
- Option to turn off Monday & Friday
- Trades over a 3 hour period each day

Live test statement don’t seems to be accurate. Can this be fixed?
What happened to this live test?!?!?!? It had a history last night but now it’s all gone except for the balance. Was wanting to really watch this. Bummer.
Where did the live test go??It was working last night but now the live statement is empty except for the balance.
Hi Guys,
Sorry about that. After adding new EA’s to the lab I sometimes forget to set it to show All History. This means at the start of the next month it removes the history from the test. I’ve fixed it now. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for the effort. Appreciated it
Hi Cam! What would be your recommend deposit balance to start with this EA. I specially like scalping robot but let see how it work next few days. Thanks for giving us a glance on almost popular Eas
Regards
The SL is set at 35, so it depends on how much you are willing to risk per trade.
I heard that it has 2 trading modes one is High Risk and another is Low Risk. Just wonder which setting are you applying to the live test? On their website they claim that other pairs, especially EURCHF is doing far more better than GBPUSD
Can’t see the High/Low risk modes you talk about. I’m using default settings. The EURCHF is an upgrade. Haven’t got that one… will see how GBPUSD works first.
Hi Cam,
you indicate a stop loss of 35 pips, but looking at the statements, I see that the stop loss is in average around 150-160 pips. Am I missing something?
Thanks
I’m going on the default settings in the Inputs tab. I suspect their back test may have had more aggressive settings.
Hi Cam,
Did you have any trades on this account after 21.09.11 ? I’m asking because my bot stopped trading on the same date (smiley face but no info screen) and i couldn’t make it work for a few days -authentication problems i guess.
Just tried reloading it now and it seems to work again.
Yes, mine stopped also. I have reinstalled it now. Let’s see if it starts trading again.
What risk setting is this at or is it set to manual lots of (.70)?!
Hi Dane,
Risk is set at 20. So the lot size must be calculated on that.
Why is forward trading such a far cry from the backtest result? By the way, developer’s mt4i statement is manipulated (fabrication). Nevertheless, forward test has been profitable. I wonder whether you could get eurchf, which shows more profit on forward test of another website.
My guess is that it takes leaps in it’s level of risk, so it grows exponentially, as per the back test.
I see fxspeedtrader, has not been updated since last week would love to compare results, did the demo expire?

for Jarora: I notice that your result on GBPUSD is not the same as Cam’s live result. What broker/VPS do you use?
Hey, Cam I am using the exact same set up on a real money alpari-ecn, do the results from above represent a alpari standard demo account?
..-thanks-..
Hi Dane,
Yes, results above are Alpari UK demo, but I think they are more similar to their Pro account.
hello Cam,can you tell explain how this ea has just taken a trade(last night) with a profit of over 10 pips when i cannot see a way of using a trailing stop? this is a brilliant ea in my opinion but mine is strictly a 4 pip tp or 5 pip tp whatever mood i am in at the time, would love to have tp’s over 10 pips! marka.
Maybe it’s broker related?
sorry ,question is not clear. i am referring to your mt4i stats page for this ea.it shows several trades with larger and varied profits with some as high as 14 pips.i just cannot see in the settings for this ea how you can adjust the tp to do that.if it still is broker relateed then i want to be with that broker!cheers mark a.
This Happens because it is a demo account from above which will always outperform a live account because there will never be slippage re-quotes/off-quotes gapping problems disconnects and sometimes better spreads w/ a slightly different price feed in which all told makes a large difference! and you can change the (tp=4 or 5 or 10 in the e.a. paramaters)
Hi im thinking of trying fx speed trader, does it go into a lot of draw down and is it very broker sensitive?
hard to say .i don’t use anything like the default settings. this year so far is not great but end of last year was brilliant.would not have thought it is broker sensitive but as tp is small then low spreads are essential, def less than 2 pips. have contacted the maker with my recent ideas and he tells me that he is bringing in an update soon so wait for that i think.
