Don’t know why CAM hasn’t got a thread on Forex Arbitrage, but for >$2K stay away. Version 1.48 didn’t work and version 1.50 was even worse. Finds the arbs but then crashes without exception, leaving you to clean up the MESS and always concluding with a loss.
TRAGIC to say the least.
hello daggerkirk,am keen to learn about this arb system but cannot find anyone who has used it for real . where did you get your info? does not sound too good from what you say!marka
I’ve been trialling it and it is woeful, with error messages back to back. I’ve seen a few comments on forums (like YTR) that agree, saying that they are going for a refund as they can’t make it work.
Hi Guys, sorry for the delay in getting this post up. I’ve been too busy looking after the intake of Pip Magnet students.
Normal business here should resume after the Christmas break.
No response to four messages sent to support, Cam.
I’ve put much effort today into trying this on different platforms and brokers using V402 and V 409 of MT4 with only one chart open (EURUSD on H1).
Because they are so emphatic in their videos about ensuring that trades have closed out, it’s evident that they were always aware that in 80 to 90% of cases the trades wouldn’t close, invalidating the claimed “PROFIT” figure. You end up with embedded losses. There’s absolutely no way I’d risk live money on this unless they can fix it. I doubt that they will, not within the refund period. ForexPeaceArmy gives Jason Fielder a poor write-up for honouring refunds, so that’s a worry also. I trusted Bill Poulos to make a refund for his Hopeless Forex Income Engine, but all I got was abuse and threats.
Of course, ThinkForex injected delays and their recent nonsenses are of no assistance to Forex Arbitrage – but the failures are not broker specific. I tried FXPRO, YourTrade, Forex.com, Iam FX. FinFX, Trading Point, Alpari Uk and Pepperstone Razor plus Pepperstone Standard (in different combos). More frustrating is the fact that many attractive arbitrage opportunities do exist. However their software can’t cope, even after juggling their “settings” throughout the range. There are around five different failure modes that I’ve identified and they’re all disturbingly recurrent. They vary from evident failure pronouncements (error msgs) to obscure and non-alerting surreptitious “freeze” failures. You the have to reset Forex-ARB to each platform to try again (with the same result) – but meanwhile you have to close out all the misplaced trades (by this time in loss) – before recommencing the farce again.
I heard they have been working hard on recoding – not sure if it will be enough to save this program – Arbs have such great potential.
Hi all,
Don’t you think that it is very difficult to program any kind of software for the forexmarket to get rich that simple? In this market there is nothing predictable!!! Look at the 30th of November ECB, FED, etc newsreleases. What if Merkel or Zakoshy say something in this fragile crisis moment? I do understand the meaning of Arb but it is so difficult because the fraction of time depends on severall things, brokers-server speed, bank execution, your own data speed, how great or big is your computer? All matters to think about. OK, I’ll give everyone one hit and take a look at if I were you, NEVER TRADE AGAINST THE STOCHISTIC. If there are people who wants to know more about a reliable system managed by your own mentally skills, you will come better into this specific and very difficult market called FOREX. Hear you. Thx. Marco
Crashes continually. You may get one trade max (rarely two) before it crashes and requires a reload on each broker, after cleaning up the “open trades mess” and calculating your loss. If they cannot solve the crash problem, it’s a definite refunder.
Pity they won’t acknowledge the problem during their webinar. Email replies simply say “we have noted your comments”. Yeah right.
I have the paid license and today I installed v1.51.
The previous version crashed occasionally, now let´s see with v1.51.
Today I have had it running (v1.49) between 9:00 and 15:00 GMT, I have been able to place more than ten trades and close them without problem (demo) and then it crashed, so I have just installed the new build.
Let´s see how it goes, I have only used 7 out of the 30 days of the refund period so I am still evaluating it, but if they recode it and solve the crashes then it has a lot of potential.
Another thing is if you are willing to sit waiting for the trades to show, this is just a different trading style.
Felix
Anyone who bought this got a receipt from the payment processor?
I just bought it and haven’t received any email from the payment processor, not like Clickbank. Will start testing.
