The Surefire Trading Challenge, a competition for traders around the world, was created by Mark McRae last year and it’s now back for a second time with an unprecedented number of profitable trading systems up for grabs.
How does it work?
It’s fairly simple. Over the course of the year Mark runs a number of trading competitions comprised of traders from his community. The winning systems are then made available to the public along with access to the developers through the trading community.
What do you get?
The snapshot below gives you a good overview of what they make available.

What’s the catch?
1. The competition only runs for one month so some systems may have just had a ‘lucky’ month.
2. They make too many profitable systems readily available which most people find overwhelming. This typically results in traders flip flopping from system to system without really giving one of the systems a fighting chance. My advice is to pick a system that trades when you have the time to trade, has a consistency of profits and trades that feel right for you. Then devote 3-6 months learning/practicing/backtesting it before trading with real money.
My pick
The system below from a Mr Fitzroy D is my pick and obviously resonated well with the community as they have already developed an EA based on it’s rules. Here’s a snapshot of the statement:
