Launched late July 2010 Forex Legend is an EA that’s “one of a kind” in terms of the proof it provides potential users. I’m unsure of it’s origins at present, however, it has claims of being produced by a group of top FX traders and one of the best EA programmers in the world.
On thing I can confirm though is that the team at Forex Legend have used $115,000 on 50+ real trading accounts to provide independent proof of the Forex Legend EA. Let’s take a look at some of the accounts:

As I write this, I’m glad to see under 5% Drawdown on each of the accounts above, plus solid gains and no dramatic losses. You’ll also note, it trades EURUSD and USDCHF currency pairs.
Proof will be in a full backtest of this EA. Let’s see if I can get a copy on here for testing.

I purchased it 3 days ago, and attached it to a demo account. It takes high risk. Like, on a $1000 account, it will trade 0.3 lot or so. Absolutely no control over any of the settings. More like attach and forget. Anything high risk is a no-no for me.
I applied for a refund, as I was not satisfied with the above. They are now refusing to give me a refund, saying that they offer refunds only if the software doesn’t work.
I am thinking of taking up the case with Plimus.

Sorry to hear that Al. I didn’t think Forex Legend was connected to Plimus… that said I’m yet to order a copy but have it on my list to buy.

I haven’t backtested it, as I dont trust strategy tester at all. It traded on demo just one day, and nothing yesterday. What I am not happy about is the risk factor and the inability to adjust settings. Literally nothing.
I think they deliberately went with Plimus so as to make refunds difficult.
I also picked up FAPTurbo and now considering an investment in Megadroid.
Yes, MegaDroid is indeed worth the investment. I’ve been trading it for over a year and it’s always been a consistent performer on 3 broker accounts. Also, I hear they have just dropped the price back to $97 so it may pay to get in before they raise it again.
Did yo raise a ticket with Forex Legend to see if they can amend the EA and introduce a risk setting? It does seem very weird that they haven’t included it as it’s pretty fundamental.
To be honest Cam, I just want my money back from there. The name gives me a sick feeling. I am gonna buy megadroid after that. What I am planning is to run MD and FAPT on the same account with very low risk, like 2-3%. For FAPT, I am considering USDCHF and EURCHF and MD of course EURUSD. Broker Alapri US.
Your advice here is appreciated.

Your approach to MD and FAPT won’t make you rich overnight but is a sound approach. You need to build up confidence in the performance of these eas before you put any serious cash on the line. Alpari is sound also. I have an account with them in the UK. Let me know how you get on.
Of course, I am not looking to become rich overnight. I am not even putting serious funds for now. The live account has around $1200 in it, and I dont plan to raise it, except through profits for now. I will let it run on a VPS for the next 3 months and see how it goes. If all is weel, I may then, and then only consider adding funds for higher volume (but lower risk) trades.

I’m watching your mega pro with an eager eye as I like watching the trades LIVE, i personally don’t really believe in backtests myself but am seriously contemplating getting mega pro as I’m a firm believer in mega mySELF. I’ve been using mega since Feb this year and I must say it’s been doing VERY well (using Liteforex.org acct nr 65413 and in case you wandering they offer 50% of referals deposit for referals but this isn’t why i mention them, I mention them cos I’m getting good results with mega AND fapt)! I started running FAPT on Alpari demo and i’m rather appauled by the results I MUST admit. Maybe it was my settings I don’t know, but with the same settings on my current broker LIVE and results are diferent??? how does THAT work? I actually tried demo fastbrokers AS WELL and they TOO give good results->BOTH EA’S so far. I have been running FAPT for 2 months now with $1000 lot currently at 0.05 and if fapt keeps up the good work, month end I’m increasing to 0.1

Bear in mind that MegaDroid Pro is usually given as a bonus from the Forex MegaDroid guys when you buy another product.
I was planning to test Forex Ironman but it fell off my radar… may look into it again.

Dont even think about buying this robot. I lost over 500 Euro in 1 Day Live Trading this robot. It opens 7 times the same loosing trade. What a money management is that???? You can not change lots. And risk %
