It’s a world first here at ForexReviewsRated.com, where we’ve been given exclusive rights to introduce you to Forex Growth Bot, the latest EA from the same guys that brought you Over Drive and Trading Buddy.
As the year draws to a close the EA’s seem to be getting better and all of a higher standard. This stays true for Forex Growth Bot. After running it through lab testing earlier today, it showed that it could come out of 5 years of testing with positive returns back to back.
Forex Growth Bot Essentials:
- EURUSD M15 Chart
- 4/5 digit broker compliant
- Monitors each trade until it’s closed
- Money Management guides provided
- Works with almost any account size
- TP and SL based on a percentage of their secret formula
- Uses Wave Trailing to help maximize profits
Let’s show you what this baby can do in the lab…

Forex Growth Bot testing started on 1st January 2011. Current results are as follows:

Lab Result:
Update 20th January 2010:
- Today the developer let me know that the trades were not acting normally (i.e. $2000+ draw down). This was due to my MT4 platform crashing. After an MT4 crash Growth Bot no longer has control over active trades. If this happens to you I suggest closing any positive trades and referring to review sites (like this one) to see how negative trades are behaving and act accordingly.
Update 15th February 2010:
- Two losing trades closed manually as they didn’t correspond to the demo account on Growth Bot site.
Update 19th February 2010:
- Due to feedback from the Growth Bot team and individual traders regarding the inconsistency of the independent forward test versus their results, I have decided to end the internal test and revert to the Growth Bot results feed above. The conclusion is that there is something wrong technically with my setup of Growth Bot which is producing inconsistent results. The test above should give you a better indication as to how Growth Bot performs.

Hi Guys and Gals. I was very excited to get my hands on this bot. I’ve read all the big forums going and thought it would be a good fit for me. I was really looking forward to the indicator as well. But I’ve had nothing but issues. Norton Internet Security 2011 thinks there are 2 trojans and keeps killing the licence manager and deleteing it from my system.
So after uninstalling everything, even MT4. I disabled NIS and got it activated. Now everytime I try to get the indicator into a 15min eurusd chart it crashes MT4. I’ve sent an email to support. Just needed to vent. Keep up the good work!!
Hello Grim – Having the same problem. Have you found a solution?
Thanks
Jeff
Hello camforex,
I’m using fgb in my alpari micro live and fxprimus live a/cs. Yesterday all trades were moved to big profit and it never closed in profit as your ur live account and hit stop losses! Is this broker dependent EA? Or is there any spread requirement? But wallstreet is exactly following your live accounts !! Can you advise me?
Thanks
Hello camforex,
I forgot to mention that I’m using fgb (version 1.1). What version r u using in ur live ac?
Thanks
Selvan
HI Selvan,
I’m not sure what version I’m on, but it’s the latest one I’m sure.
Yes, I also had the good profit then loss on both my live accounts. Looks like the demo above missed this.
Note, Wall Street sometimes follows my live and sometimes doesn’t. Everything is broker dependent.
Dear camforex,
In that case what broker are you using for live trading with wallstreet and FGB?
Thanks
Gomarkets
Last few days I cant access Eugenes live account.when I open the MT4 it says “invalid account” which doesnt make any sense to me.I was always able to keep eyes on Eugenes account so I know if it is matching with my account.not anymore.
Can anyone tell me please what possibly went wrong here?
Also…am I the only one had 12 straight loosing trades or everyone else had the same result?hell of a loosing ride!
Think I counted about 8 on my live.
Hi Cam
It seems you had better luck than me..lol..would you mind to shed some light on the Eugene’s live account issue that I have mentioned in my earlier post.Appreciate your help.
Looks like he was running it on a demo account and the broker terminated the account. Hence why it says invalid account. I have had this happen a number of times given the amount of demo accounts i create and run. Maybe give Eugene a nudge to see if he can set another up?
I have both the basic and power source version of FGB. In strategy test, both have shown to be profitable and of course the upgraded (power source) version showed to be more profitable. I have discovered that this EA is still very buggy. The problems I have seen are…
#1- It cannot deal with losing connection to your broker. If anything happens to your connection the EA will usually lose track of the orders it has open and then they have to be controlled manually.
#2- It has a nasty habit of having orders run way into profit only to fall back to a full stoploss.
#3- It seems to have the ability to set your lot size in its settings, but apparently the EA ignores this setting and randomly opens different size positions. I have talked to a few different people that have had this happen (myself included). Set the lot size to 0.1 and watched the EA open position sizes larger than 1 full standard lot on a $1000 account!
#4- Apparently has a huge problem working at all for some people. I have not had this problem, but have seen many that have.
ON THE GOOD SIDE….They seem to have a very responsive support team. I usually hear back from them within 24 hours. I know that the tech support is working on all the problems I listed here because they have told me, or other owners in the forum that the problem is being worked on.
So…final analysis….currently, very poor….future, very good. I would have to say right now, avoid it unless you don’t mind the added risk of the problems i have mentioned on the possibility that it works fine on your system. As for the future, I believe that these problems will eventually get worked out and all will be smooth sailing. Hopefully sooner than later.
I am getting really annoyed with FGB lately. Its about to have its 15th straight losses. It will be hard for it to recover from here.especially when it does not close the trades in profit.Very very annoying.
speak of the devil….it did take the loss right.Unbelievable.
Wow i have 16 consecutive losses from May 5 until May 16! Account really total damage. This bot really how to make you lose money. Just starter using this bot for 4 weeks. Have to stop using this bot for a time being. If still continue losing, i have to close shop. No more forex trading. from the first day using have been a losing trade. Not very impress. Very lousy bot. I have felt the pain inside!
I agree that its been going through a bad patch. In my live I’m not confident that after a weekend it hasn’t lost connection to the trades so will read the chart and make a call on if I should close them or not. Also if 3 trades open in the same direction I will also rea the chart and make a call on if it’s best to take some profit. This has left my losing streak at 8.
This bot do funny funny thing. I have 17 trade open at once in 1 day. Luckiky most of the winning trade if not in 1 day my shop will be close. It didn’t match with the live account. I found out that
1. When trade open you cannot adjust the settings else it will close the open trade
2. you cannot manual close the trade else it will open opposite trade.
3. do not switch the time frame back and forward with other time frame. the trade will lose control
4. If you close one of the trade while other still open. The bot lose control over the balance trade
5. When the trade open you cannot close and open MT4. 2 things you have to do. Close it manually else the trade lose control.
6. Most of the time the trade in handsome profit but without any reason it fall back and hit your stop loss.
7. Have fixed lot 0.05 without any reason it can open different lot than you specify.
8 Open multiple trade 4 most of the time as compare with 3 with thier live account.
9. When you want to manully close the trade you have to disbale the EA or restart your MT4 else prepare for opposite trade. This leave me no man land. Grr..
good luck!
Well, JUST before I thought this one wasnt GOING anywhere lol, this one NEVER seizes to amaze me, and yet has done a VERY good job at preserving your “stock” (account). I think this bot is a good choice

Hi all,
Has anyone been using the FGB Trade copier? I subscribed to it since its release and am considering cancelling and sticking with the Bot only. (Still dont see why we have to pay $34.95 just to ensure the trades are secure!)
Would be great to get others peoples feedback on the Trade Copier. Thanks!
Warmest Regards
Pipsi Max
Hi all
Just been looking at the Zulutrade results for FGB since loaded on 27/5. Impressive beyond belief. So, what has changed; all I see in the comments so far are problems and complaints??
Oops, sorry, forgot one thing. Would love to have 3 of your bots on my Zulu account Cam, but the slippage of 2 pips+ is a little scary, espacially when a bot averages 5 pips per trade.
in the official web FGB lose much trade. in your live test forexreviewrated FGB win almost 300 pips and in your live test in zulutrade FGB win almost 1500 pips. what setting you use FGB. are you setting FGB once or sometimes change setting to follow market trend. i think in live test in your web interesting because the average almost 500 pip in month.in zulutrade of course the winner but to risky for me high sl and high tp. can you give me your setting in live test mt4i because i plan to buy this robot.
Hi Kim, My Zulutrade is the only one I’m currently running on a demo account using default settings. I updated the live test above to take the test results from the vendors site… so not under my control. I have been closing out the good profits on Zulutrade manually as this is the only place it is being referenced.
Hi Cam Forex. What version of FGB are You using on zulutrade? i dont have the same results as You have.
I’m not 100% sure what the version is. From memory it’s the one after the initial version, maybe 1.2.
hi cam, what kind bot you use: basic, advanced or power.
Just the basic version.
Hi cam,
Just wondering mate, will this bot make the graduates list?
Thankss
Not at this stage. I had too many technical issues where it would lose connection with the trade. Also, the period I trialed it, there were many losses before only a few small wins. I think it’s having a good run at the moment though.
Hi, purchased FGB Basic edition last weekend. Had my first two trades today with some profit. My own backtest show it is aggressive, so be careful with lotsize, put it on minimum.
Hi cam what are the settings for the fgb you have on zulutrade???
Sorry, FGB is no longer running on Zulutrade. It was running default settings before.
Hi Cam,
Do you know the basic trading system of this EA..?
Thanks
It try’s to pick trends, if the trend doesn’t happen it will exit out at a moderate SL. If it finds one it will ride it for a while then close out. It staggers positions to maximize the trend.
Hope this helps.
I already have 20 losing trades this week!!! Is anyone else experiencing the same problem???
the market is whipsawing. FGB is a trend follower. Whipsawing markets will kill it quick. you gotta exit the trades early.
Hi Cam,
Whats the current version for FGB?I have got 1.6.just checking I got the current version.havent run this bot a for while. Thanks mate.
I haven’t run this one for a while now. The test above is from the vendor.
Hi All
FGB enter the trade base on volatility setting. You have to study the current volatility of market and and set the volatility factor in power version of FGB 1.6.
But one of the biggest drawback of FGB is, it try to maximize the profit and keep adding position if the trend does not continue it exit in stop lost making maximum lost. However it can catch the market trend correctly.
The power version include the source code and I have modified the sour code to lock the minimum profit if the trend does not continue. Now I am making consistent money using FGB. For detail you can login to my website.
So, what is your website?
Your website EALOOKER is where?
Have had FGB on a demo FXGT for 4 weeks made 8 winning trades and 4 losing trades $111 profit at 0.1 lot size. I have moved it to my Axi live account nothing after a week.
